Many hands make light work

Workers at Fairfield Community Garden’s July working bee were treated with glorious winter sunshine and good company. The industrious crew emptied a compost bin, created new strawberry plots, replanted boots and laid mulch… all before morning tea time.

The Annual General Meeting was held over a hearty spread and we celebrated the achievements of the past year, such as fruit tree planting, growth of communal plots, seed raising success and management of general garden maintenance.
