Darebin Fruit Squad – A community fruit harvesting project, which was an initiative of Transition Darebin that has evolved in partnership with Jika Jika Community Centre along with support funding from Darebin City Council.  Trained volunteers harvest local back yard fruit trees and redistribute the fruit to agencies, like SecondBite, who supply food insecure people.
